"Room was well kept"
The room was nice overall. Everything worked like it should, and it felt clean and well taken care of.

"Not very comfy at all"
The bed just felt awful and I didn’t sleep well. It’s frustrating because you expect the basics to be comfortable, and instead you end up dealing with stuff that feels like it was chosen by some automated system that never actually has to sleep on it.

"We stayed here with our kids..."
We stayed here with our kids, it just didn’t feel very family friendly. There wasn’t much room to actually relax, getting around felt like more of a hassle than it should’ve been, and the overall vibe was more stressful than fun. Not saying it’s a scam, but it definitely didn’t match what we were hoping for as a family stay. I wouldn’t choose it again for a trip with kids

"I thought the food was pretty..."
I thought the food was good overall. Breakfast had a nice mix of options, and dinner tasted fresh, which I appreciated. The prices did feel a little high though?? Still, the service was friendly and quick, so that definitely helped.

"The staff here were really friendly and..."
The staff here were really friendly and made us feel welcome. They helped with our bags and got us through check-in without any hassle. Just a heads up for anyone coming later in the day: the front desk did slow down a bit, so you might need a little patience. Overall though, everyone was kind, easy to talk to, and genuinely helpful

"Parking was fine, just a little frustrating"
Parking was close enough, so that part wasn’t really a problem. I might’ve just shown up at a bad time, and I was already kind of in a rush, but finding an open spot took longer than I expected. Not awful or anything, just a bit annoying

"When I got there, I was hoping..."
When I got there, I was hoping to just settle in and freshen up after a long day, but the bathroom kind of ruined that moment. As soon as I walked in, there was a bad smell, and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. I tried to look past it, but it was hard to feel comfortable after that.

"I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable..."
I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the bed was. I slept well, which is always the main thing for me. The pillows were a little softer than I usually like, but it didn’t bother me much. The room was quiet enough at night, and overall it was a solid stay. I’d come back, especially because the mattress was so nice.

"Support was disappointing"
The stay itself was okay overall, so I don’t want to make it sound like the whole trip was bad. But the customer support side of things was disappointing, especially for a resort where you expect things to feel a bit more polished.
I emailed them with a billing question and waited a few days to get a response. When they finally replied, it really felt like they hadn’t fully read what I wrote and just sent me a generic answer. At the very least, I expected some kind of apology for the delay or confusion, but that didn’t happen.

I also called once and got passed around to different people, which just made the whole thing more frustrating. It wasn’t the worst customer service experience ever, but it definitely didn’t match what I expected from this kind of place...

"Smooth booking, just a slight email delay"
I booked a room on grandharborresort.com after a friend recommended it, and the whole process was easy. The dates and prices were laid out clearly, and checkout didn’t take long at all. The only downside was that the confirmation email took a little longer than I expected, so I knocked off one star for that.

"Felt safe staying here with my family"
I stayed here with my family, including my sister, and overall we felt comfortable and safe the whole time. The doors and parking area seemed to be monitored well, and there was usually staff around if we needed anything. I’m only giving 4 stars because a couple of the hallways felt really quiet later at night, which was a little odd, but we never had any issues. Overall, it felt secure enough for our stay...

"Good stay, just a bit noisy"
We stayed here for the weekend and overall had a good experience. The room was comfortable and everything was fine for the most part, but we could definitely hear people out in the hall and kids running around here and there, if that makes sense.

It did quiet down later at night, so it wasn’t a huge deal. I’d just say bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. We still enjoyed our stay and had a nice time overall.

"Just wasn’t in the right spot for us"
The place was okay, but the location just didn’t really work for us. It felt too far from everything we needed, so getting around was kind of a hassle... just not super convenient overall.

"Check-in was a mess"
We got to Grand Harbor Resort check-in was kind of a mess from the start. The line was barely moving, people were just standing around, and the front desk seemed like they couldn’t really figure out our booking. Not sure if their system was acting up or what, but nobody really explained anything or even gave a decent apology. We were just stuck there with tired kids, which made it feel even longer.
Then when we finally got the room keys, they didn’t work. So yeah, we had to drag ourselves all the way back down and deal with it again. It’s not the end of the world, but after a long trip, that’s the last thing you want. Rough way to start the stay...

"Room wasn’t clean and I felt ignored"
The room didn’t feel clean when I got there. There was dust around, the floors looked dirty, and the bathroom really didn’t seem like it had been properly cleaned. It made the whole stay uncomfortable. When I brought it up, I didn’t feel like a guest so much as just another ticket number to be dealt with

"Started Out Excited, Ended Up Let Down"
We were so excited to spend the day at the waterpark, especially the kids. At first, everyone was in a great mood and ready to run straight to the slides, but then we found out a bunch of them were closed. That changed the vibe fast. I felt bad because the kids kept trying to make the best of it, but after a while they got bored and disappointed. It wasn’t a terrible day, but definitely not the fun outing we were hoping for.

"Reservation got messed up somehow"
I booked a king room for two nights, but when I showed up, they only had me down for one night in a double. Not really sure where the mix-up happened, but the front desk didn’t seem too concerned and basically just shrugged it off. Frustrating after getting there and expecting everything to be set...

"Clean pool, little details stood out"
Stayed here with my kids and we spent a good amount of time at the pool. It was clean the whole time, which I noticed right away because I’m picky about stuff like cloudy water, weird smells, and grime around the edges. The water looked clear, and it didn’t have that overpowering chlorine smell either. I also saw staff come by a few times to check on things, which made me feel better. There were a couple of towels left on chairs by other guests, but nothing too bad. Overall, we were happy with the pool area. 4 stars.

"Pretty views, but the whole vibe felt off"
The view was really nice, especially near the water, and I did appreciate that part. But the overall atmosphere just didn’t sit right with me. It was loud, crowded, and not very relaxing, which felt disappointing for a place calling itself a resort. I don’t think it’s wrong for people to enjoy a busier scene, but if you’re charging resort prices, I feel like there’s some responsibility to make guests feel comfortable and give them a calm space to unwind. For me, it just wasn’t the cozy stay I was hoping for.
